Kelly Sullivan* graduated Magna Cum Laude from American University in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Studies and certificates in both Spanish Translation and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESL). Ms. Sullivan earned a Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Miami School of Law, where she excelled as a Miami Public Interest Scholar and was active in the Public Interest Leadership Board of Helping Others through Pro Bono Efforts (HOPE), UM Law’s renowned public interest resource center.
Kelly Sullivan’s practice is driven by her passion for immigrant rights and social justice. During her legal studies, Ms. Sullivan assisted victims of Haiti’s 2010 earthquake with emergency applications for Temporary Protected Status in the United States and served as a summer HOPE Fellow at UNICEF in Geneva, Switzerland. Following law school, Ms. Sullivan was awarded a postgraduate fellowship from UM Law’s award-winning Legal Corps, which enabled her to live and work in Quito, Ecuador with Asylum Access, an international nonprofit dedicated to making refugee rights a reality worldwide. Ms. Sullivan has also developed humanitarian projects in Central America and Africa and served as an Equal Justice Works fellow with the Veterans Legal Corps in Orlando, Florida.
Kelly Sullivan joins the firm with immigration experience in both private immigration firms and non profit organizations, in addition to having done extensive international work and run her own immigration practice in 2015. Ms. Sullivan is a licensed member of the Florida Bar and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
