The U.S. Department of State has published important information for Ukrainians who have evacuated to Poland. U.S. citizens or green card holders with a Ukrainian relative should request transfer of their existing immigrant visa case to the consulate in Frankfurt, Germany or Warsaw, Poland. Fiancée’s of U.S. citizens may request that USCIS expedite processing of the Fiancé Petition. Applicants seeking a non-immigrant visa may request transfer of their case to Warsaw or Krakow. Refugees have been instructed to seek refugee status with the government of Poland.
